WNRB-LP (93.3 FM, Wausau) is licensed by the FCC as a low-power FM "community" radio station. This designation means we are a non-commercial, non-profit entity offering primarily locally produced programming. WNRB-LP's broadcast radius includes the greater Wausau metropolitan area and extends as far as Merrill, Marathon City and Mosinee (depending on geography). Our on-air programs are presented by non-paid volunteers.
WNRB-LP relies on the community to support its operation. WNRB-LP seeks corporate, individual and foundation sources to help cover costs. We offer levels to help you consider contributing to this effort (you will be acknowledged on air and in materials only with your approval). We hope you will consider donating the WNRB - This is your radio station and that is how we stay on the air. Thank you for your consideration of joining in the effort to support WNRB-LP.
The Wausau Area Hmong Association is working with WXCO, 12:30 A.M. on your dial to produce a one hour Hmong News program that is aired from 7:30 - 8:30 AM on Sunday. Along with local, state and national news you will be able to hear traditional Hmong music.
