Hmong Radio Program
WXCO
The Wausau Area Hmong Association is working with WXCO, 12:30 A.M. on your dial to produce a one hour Hmong News program
that is aired from 7:30 - 8:30 AM on Sunday. Along with local, state and national news you will be able to hear traditional
Hmong music.
WNRB
There is another a radio station that is sponsored by WAHMA, WNRB 93.3 FM. The times that have a Hmong announcer
are Sunday through Saturday 7:00 - 8:00 a.m., 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.; there are also varied programming
throughout the week by many other show hosts that are done in both Hmong and English.
WNRB-LP (93.3 FM, Wausau) is licensed by the FCC as a low-power FM "community" radio station. This designation
means we are a non-commercial, non-profit entity offering primarily locally produced programming. WNRB-LP’s
broadcast radius includes the greater Wausau metropolitan area and extends as far as Merrill, Marathon City and
Mosinee (depending on geography). Our on-air programs are presented by non-paid volunteers.
WNRB-LP relies on the community to support its operation. WNRB-LP seeks corporate, individual and foundation
sources to help cover costs. We offer levels to help you consider contributing to this effort (you will be
acknowledged on air and in materials only with your approval). We hope you will consider donating the
